About

A house, a craftsman, and a county full of cedar.

This is a new business. We are not going to invent a decade of reviews to sound older than we are.

Tim Brittain had his cedar house refinished by a craftsman who still works wood that way — wash it like you mean to keep it, finish it so rain can come and go, leave the grain visible. The job changed how the house sat in the weather.

They are building Bigfoot Wood Care so more Lane County homes can get that same treatment. Not a production painting crew with a cedar upsell. A small shop that will take the houses that are actually cedar, in the towns we can reach from here.

The partner already knows the work. His name and story stay off this page until he wants them on it. Tim’s name is here because this is his house, and his name on the estimate.

The mark is a woodcut of Bigfoot staining a cedar board — a local wink, not a mascot act. The serious part is Oregon weather, and cedar that lasts longer when someone treats it like wood.
